The renew password process is set up to send a notification to all users 10 days before the password expires. The notification stays for a couple of days in the windows taskbar or on the right side in the Notifications area.

Note: If the users don’t connect to the VPN every day, they will not be able to receive these notifications from the server.
Best Practices:
-

Users can test here: speedtest.net ( or copy and paste the link in your browser) their current internet speed from home or public location before or after they connect the computer to the VPN. They should have almost the same results with or without a VPN on.
- For users who do not connect to the VPN so often – create In Outlook a Task or an Appointment with 80-85 days Recurring period, where the start day should be the day when the user renews the password.
Create a task in Outlook Video.
- When the password is expired, connection to the VPN is not allowed anymore and the users need to contact IT department to renew the password manually via remote session or the users can renew their password via O365 login - For instructions, look for this article - Renewing computer/domain/VPN/O365/Qlik password with O365 on our IT knowledge library.
