Passportal Mobile App User Guide.
Navigating Around
The app enables you access the three different vaults configured in your Passportal account along with the folders and credentials contained within. The vaults are accessed through the navigation bar located at the bottom of the screen.
Each Vault will enable you to navigate folders and credentials that you have access to.
Settings can be accessed through the gears icon in the navigation bar and is detailed below in this document.

Change Your Settings
The Settings menu is accessed through the gears icon located in the navigation bar at the foot of the screen.
Unlock Method
Select this to change the default unlock method when accessing the app. Options include
Launch URL Always Copy Password
Toggling this option will automatically copy the password associated with the launched URL to the clipboard. This helps eliminate an additional step when launching sites within the app.
Autofill Services
Give access to the autofill services to configure autofill functionality for web browsers and apps. For more information, please see: Autofill Functionality.
Reset App Settings
This will reset all settings to default, removing all saved login information (Username, Password, Organizational Key as well as the Unlock Method).
Log Out
Simply logs you out of the app, requiring a reentering of the password, but leaving your Username and Organizational Key intact if the Remember Me option is set on the login screen.

Adding a Folder or Credential
The app allows you to add new Folders as well as add and edit Credentials.
Selecting the + icon from the top right will enable you to add a new Folder or Credential if selected from My Vault, Company Vault, or from within a specific Client.

Selecting the + icon from the Clients screen will only provide the option to add a new Credential.

When accessing any Vault that has no Contents, you will be presented with a menu to allow addition of a Credential, a Folder, or to Refresh the screen.

Viewing and Editing Credentials
Passwords can be accessed by selecting it from the list and viewing the information.

Copying Information
Both the Username and Password field can be copied to the clipboard using the Clipboard icon.
Editing a Password
You can edit a password by selecting the Pencil icon in the upper right corner of the screen.

Launching from the Context Menu
From the context menu located next to each credential, you can
- Launch URL
- View
- Edit
- Show
- Copy
- Disable
When launching the URL, if the Launch URL Always Copy Password option is not enabled, it will ask if you want to copy the password this time or every time going forward.

Autofill Setup - iOS
To enable the Autofill functionality on your iOS device, please follow the below instructions.
- Log into N-able Passportal mobile app
- Select Settings from the navigation bar
- Select Autofill Services

- Follow the on screen prompts:

The N-able Passportal Autofill service can be active at the same time as iOS Keychain however there can only be one third party app as the active autofill service
Autofill Usage - iOS
Once Autofill is enabled, when you browse to a login screen on a web-site, or access the login dialog for an app on your iOS device, N-able Passportal will attempt to match a saved credential for use to log in.
Once you have selected the username or password field, the iOS keyboard will offer N-able Passportal as an option.
This may take the form of a fully matched credential, or access into the credential vaults via the key icon:

Select the required credential from those offered to inject it into the appropriate fields for your login.
If selecting into the vaults, you will be presented with a list of available credentials.

If you are no longer authenticated in the N-able Passportal app, you will be prompted to re-authenticate before any of the options can proceed.
